Jennifer Carlene Joseph, I am native from the beautiful twin island of the Trinidad and Tobago, where I left at the age of 6 then migrated to America with my family. I have four brothers, Michael, Roy, Troy and Trent and one sister, Charlene who I am very proud of and thankful to have a close family. The most inspirational and supportive individuals in my life was my grandmother, Maria Oliver and my parents, Fitzroy and Monica Joseph. I must thank my beloved uncle Thomas Fermin and aunt Yvonne Mohammed, who has been at my side every step of the way. I spent the early years of my childhood in Brooklyn, New York then moved to the west coast and resided in Anaheim, California. Now, I call Florida my home. Throughout my school age years I was very involved in all sports; well you can say I was a female jock. I had no choice especially having four brothers who lived and breathed basketball. I played basketball and ran track at the junior high school level. In high school, I ran track, cross country, played volleyball and basketball. I continued to focus on sports in college and played two years of basketball .
Upon completion of my college years, I began to see myself getting more involved in the fashion industry. I found a love not only for fashion but I realized that I loved to be photographed. My parents suggested that I look into a modeling career; which I did, and thus pursued the idea by joining a well known modeling Agency in California. In 2006, I decided to get back into fashion and refocus on my modeling career by joining two major modeling agencies in Miami. I have done several television commercials, print advertisements both in English and Spanish, runway shows, and internet advertisements. These have opened many doors for me and I have been able to capitalize on each job, by using the experiences as a stepping stone towards reaching my ultimate goal, landing a modeling contract with one of the top five modeling agencies in the world. My educational background is as follows, I hold a Bachelor's of Sciene degree in Communication and I am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Business. I am active in the community by volunteering my time to help find a cure for Autism, as this is a topic that is close to my heart and hits home. I am a strong well-rounded, self-motivated woman who enjoys happiness, laughter, being free spirited and embraces any and all challenges that presents itself.
